PTC, or Positive Temperature Coefficient element, is a
technology that regulates the temperature of the heating
film and protects it from overheating. As the temperature increase, and consequently the resistance, the current intensity decreases, resulting in a maximum safe temperature of the iHelios system reaching 54°C.
